CRDB Bank Foundation participated in the official launch of the Smart Elite Initiative, a strategic program held in Dar es Salaam aimed at preparing higher education students to compete effectively in the digital economy. The event was officiated by the Acting Managing Director of CRDB Bank, Fredrick Nshekanabo, alongside CRDB Bank Foundation Managing Director Tully Esther Mwambapa, and key partners including the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB) and Basil Link. Through the initiative, HESLB beneficiaries will receive financial literacy training, entrepreneurship skills, and career preparation to enhance their competitiveness in the job market and digital economy. The Smart Elite Initiative reflects CRDB Bank Foundation’s continued commitment to youth empowerment and sustainable development through programs such as Go Green and iMbeju.

CRDB FOUNDATION AND VIJANA PLATFORM
CRDB Bank Foundation donated 12 fishing boats worth over TZS 100 million and six fish cages stocked with 60,000 fish fingerlings and eight months of fish feed valued at TZS 200 million during the launch of the Vijana Platform in Mwanza. The platform brings together youth entrepreneurs from various sectors to expand economic opportunities and support the growth of their businesses. The support was officially handed over by the Minister of State, President’s Office – Youth Development, Hon. Joel Arthur Nanauka, alongside CRDB Bank Foundation’s Managing Director, TullyEsther Mwambapa. Through its iMbeju Program, the Foundation continues to provide entrepreneurship training, financial literacy education, and enabling capital to youth, women, and special groups nationwide, with over one million beneficiaries already trained.
